Referral Programme Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 16 September 2026
These Referral Programme Terms & Conditions apply to referrals made to Queen of Bites, a trading name of MOVENO GROUP LIMITED. By submitting a referral, you agree to these terms.
1. Who can make a referral
Any individual or business may refer a hospitality business to Queen of Bites, provided the referral is genuine and made in good faith.
The referrer must be legally entitled to receive the referral payment.
2. Eligible referrals
A referral is eligible only where:
- the referred business is a new prospective client of Queen of Bites;
- the referral is submitted before Queen of Bites is already in active discussions with that business;
- the referred business has not already been introduced by another referrer;
- the referred business subsequently books and pays for a qualifying Queen of Bites service.
Queen of Bites may determine, acting reasonably, whether a referral qualifies under these terms.
3. Referral rewards
Referral rewards are based on the value of the referred client’s first confirmed booking, excluding VAT, reimbursed customer spend, accommodation, travel costs and any other third-party or pass-through expenses.
Only one referral reward is payable per referred client.
4. When the reward becomes payable
A referral reward becomes payable only when:
- the referred client has accepted the booking;
- the relevant Queen of Bites invoice has been paid in full; and
- the payment has cleared.
Rewards are normally paid within 14 days of the qualifying client payment being received.
No reward is payable for cancelled, refunded, disputed, unpaid or partially paid bookings.
5. How rewards are paid
Referral rewards are paid in cash by bank transfer or another payment method agreed by Queen of Bites.
The referrer is responsible for providing accurate payment details.
Queen of Bites is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete payment information.
6. VAT and tax
Referral rewards may constitute taxable income for the recipient.
The referrer is responsible for declaring and paying any tax, National Insurance, VAT or other amounts due in connection with the referral reward.
Where the referrer is VAT registered and VAT is properly chargeable, the referrer must provide a valid VAT invoice before payment is made.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the referral reward amounts shown by Queen of Bites are exclusive of VAT where VAT is applicable.
7. Duplicate referrals
If more than one person refers the same business, the reward will normally be paid to the person whose valid referral was received first.
Queen of Bites’ records will be used to determine the timing of referrals.
8. Existing contacts and active opportunities
No referral reward is payable where, before the referral was submitted:
- Queen of Bites was already in active communication with the business;
- the business was already an existing or previous Queen of Bites client;
- the business had already requested information, pricing, a proposal or a booking; or
- the business had already been referred by another person.
9. Self-referrals and connected businesses
Self-referrals are not eligible.
Queen of Bites may also decline referrals involving businesses owned, controlled or managed by the referrer where the arrangement appears primarily designed to generate a referral payment rather than introduce a genuinely new client.
10. No authority to act for Queen of Bites
Referrers are independent introducers only.
Making a referral does not create an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture or representative relationship with Queen of Bites.
Referrers must not:
- make promises or guarantees on behalf of Queen of Bites;
- negotiate pricing or commercial terms on our behalf;
- represent themselves as an employee or authorised representative of Queen of Bites; or
- make misleading claims about our services.
11. Data protection and consent
Referrers should only provide business contact details that they are entitled to share.
Where personal contact information is submitted, the referrer should have a lawful basis for providing it to Queen of Bites.
Queen of Bites will process personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
12. Misuse of the programme
Queen of Bites may refuse or cancel a referral reward where it reasonably believes that there has been:
- fraud;
- manipulation;
- misleading information;
- abuse of the referral programme;
- duplicate or artificial referrals; or
- conduct that could damage Queen of Bites or the referred business.
13. Changes to the programme
Queen of Bites may change, suspend or withdraw the Referral Programme at any time.
Any valid referral submitted before a change takes effect will normally remain subject to the terms that applied when it was submitted.
14. Limitation
A referral does not guarantee that Queen of Bites will contact, accept or work with the referred business.
Queen of Bites has complete discretion over whether to pursue a referral and whether to enter into a commercial relationship with the referred business.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with the Referral Programme.
